Is Cloora a free document scanner?
Yes. Scanning, text recognition, search, sharing and folders are free forever, with unlimited scans, no watermarks, no ads and no subscription. Cloora Pro is an optional one-time purchase for extra features.
Does Cloora upload my documents?
No. Cloora scans, reads and stores your documents on your phone, encrypted. They leave your phone only when you share, save, print or back them up. On Android, Cloora doesn’t even have permission to use the internet.
Does Cloora work offline?
Yes. Scanning, reading text, searching, sharing and backups all work without an internet connection, even in Airplane Mode.
Can Cloora make my existing PDFs searchable?
Yes. Import a PDF or a photo, and Cloora reads its text on your phone (OCR) so you can search it and copy text from it.
Which languages can Cloora read?
Cloora reads printed English, French and other languages written in the Latin alphabet. The app itself is in English and French.
When will Cloora be available?
